Register optional fields

Does anyone know if there is a way to specify additional fields for the "Register.aspx" that are optional.

I have created a copy of mojoProfile.config and defined some fields in there of which a few are optional.

If I do not set "requiredForRegistration" it will not show on the registration page, but if I do set it it has to be completed. The client wants to have a few fields on the registration page but not make them compulsory.

Is this possible?

Re: Register optional fields

Hi, this has been requested, but there is no firm time frame for when it will be implemented.

Re: Register optional fields

Hi,

fyi, I implemented this today. In the next release it will support a new property on the configuration for

showOnRegistration="true"

This is in the source code repository now for those working from source code.

Best,

Joe
