Facebook plugin not working with IE9 RC

  • What version of mojoPortal are you running?
  • What version of .NET do you use?
  • What steps are necessary to reproduce the issue? Compare expected results vs actual results.

Facebook plugin not working with IE9 RC

Hey Everyone,

I'm not sure if this is the correct area to posted this, if it's the wrong area, I'm Sorry.

When looking at http://www.dsatallahassee.org/who-we-are.aspx you will see the page does not show the facebook plugin at the buttom, go to IE 8 or IE7 and it loads.

System Information

mojoPortal Version 2.3.5.8 MySQL

Operating System Microsoft Windows NT 6.0.6002 Service Pack 2

ASP.NET Info Running in Partial Trust

We don't really have a Facebook plugin in mojoPortal, you just embed their widget as html and script so if there is a problem with their widget in IE 9 it will probably be up to Facebook to fix it.

We do have a facebook like button, if it doe snot work in the final release of IE 9 I will look into it but that is really just also using a widget that facebook prescribes so we still may depend on them to fix it if it has problems with IE 9.

I have not installed any RC of IE 9 and don't plan to install it or try it until it is released in its final version.
