Move sub domain site to a new domain

I have working on a web site by using a sub domain, say demo.mydomain.com, and the web site is up running. Now if I move the site contents from the sub domain to a new domain, say www.mynewdomain.com, will it work? The sub domain and the new domain are all on the same hosting plan, so I can use the same database.

Thanks,

Jeffrey

Re: Move sub domain site to a new domain

Hi Jeffrey,

It should work fine. See notes about moving a site here:

The things discussed in that article apply also in your scenario.

Best,

Joe
