I cannot find the solution file

When posting in this forum, please try to provide as many relevant details as possible. Particularly the following:

  • What operating system were you running when the bug appeared?
  • What database platform is your site using?
  • What version of mojoPortal are you running?
  • What version of .NET do you use?
  • What steps are necessary to reproduce the issue? Compare expected results vs actual results.

You may also want to review the installation or upgrading documentation.

I cannot find the solution file

The very first thing I have tried to do after install is to open the file in Visual studio 2010, but I cannot find a solution file.  I have done a search for *.sln and there is no result.

Additionally I have looked through all of the folders.  I dont know which version, I downloaded it last night and it was the one downloaded by the MS Web download install util.

Also there are no project files.  The version is 2.3.5.5 which is being auto installed from the MS Tool.

Hi,

If you want to develop on mojoPortal, you will need to get the source code. What you have, that was installed by the Web Application Installer, are the release files. The release files do not have solution or project files.

The main reason I want the source files is because it wont run after I install it.

Then you should start a new thread and describe whatever error is happening and maybe someone can help you.
