HTML Content Error

Hello,

I installed mojoPortal two weeks ago and have been playing around with it. Yesterday I started getting a weird error message on pages using HTML Content. If I go to edit the page I get a AccessDenied.aspx. I am still able to go to the pages settings, I am unable to access the pages editor.

This issue is only happening when I create a new page using HTML Content. I don't have this happening with other pages. Only one page that uses HTML Content allows me to edit its contents and that is the Welcome page. But this page was in the system before this error started happening.

Thank You

Tim

Re: HTML Content Error

Hi,

Are you working with source code or pre-compiled official release files?

I don't think this problem ever made it into an official release but if you got the code from the repository there were a few days when this bug was present. If you update to the latest code it should solve it.

Hope it helps,

Joe

Re: HTML Content Error

I forgot to mention that I downloaded the latest release and that is what I have on the server.

Re: HTML Content Error

Sorry but I cannot reproduce the problem.

Please be very specific about what file(s) you downloaded and where you downloaded them from and what steps you took to install.

I just tested the mojoportal-2-3-5-8-b-mssql-net35-deploymentfiles.zip package on a new clean installation and it worked fine and did not exhibit the problem you describe. That is a pre-compiled deployment package meant for production deployment. Many others have upgraded to the latest version and no-one else has reported this problem.

If you use the source code you should get the very latest version rather than the version that corresponds to the 2.3.5.8 release. It is best to get the latest code from our source code repository.

Hope it helps,

Joe
