Re: what needs to be done after this screen.

It appears that setup did run completely because your site doesn't have any style. Make sure you have something in /Data/Sites/1/skins. If you do not, copy the contents of /Data/skins to /Data/Sites/1/skins. Also, make sure you have set write permissions on the /Data directory for the web process user.

HTH,
Joe D.

Re: what needs to be done after this screen.

Hi,

You need to login as as admin@admin.com with the password admin. The homepage should be visible to all but I am not sure what changes have been made to it. Once you are logged in with an administrator account, you can create pages and content.

Thanks,
Joe

Re: what needs to be done after this screen.

Well, I'm not sure what happened then. How did you create the sampatelnew account? With the "Register" option or the "Create New User" option?

If you used the "Create New User" option, you have been able to login to your site in the past so you should be able to now unless you changed the admin username or password and then forgot what you changed it to.

If you haven't done anything with your site yet, I would suggest deleting the database and all the files in the web directory and starting over. When you install mojoPortal, be sure you have done the following before running the mojoPortal Setup.

  1. Set your connection string in the User.Config file.
  2. Follow the directions here for copying the files to the web server.
  3. Grant the Web Process User "write" permissions on the App_Data and Data directories.
  4. Run http://yourwebsite.url/Setup/Default.aspx

HTH,
Joe D.

Re: what needs to be done after this screen.

Hi Sam,

I would love to help you out by remoting to your computer but I just do not have the time to do that. The instructions are fairly clear and if you have a question about any portion of the instructions, I am happy to help.

Maybe someone else has time to remote to your system and help you, I am swamped with work so I can't right now, sorry.

Thanks,
Joe D.
