Sign in page as default welcome page

Hi, first of all thank you very much for this great portal. im putting it in use.

Is there an easy way to make the Sign In model appear in the home page for unauthenticated users ?

or do i need to add the Secure/Login.aspx code into the welcome page ? is this good practice ?

Thank You !
