Easy way to show sites in dev??

Hi,

I am trying to find a way of showing clients sites that I'm working on without having to ask them to alter their host files (and without setting the dns until the site is ready).

I have a windows vps but on speaking to the hosting company they tell me that unless I set the dns or change the host files I won't be able to see the site as the plesk site preview function doesn't work with mojo (no images or css).

I tried to do it with a subdomain (where the main site doesn't yet use mojo portal just flat html/aspx - site overhaul on the todo list) but that doesn't seem to work well at all and I get the same problems as above.

Any advise on how you guys manage this?

Thanks

Andrew

Re: Easy way to show sites in dev??

Never mind - not sure what went wrong the first time around but it is all working fine now :-)

I have the site which is flat aspx then created a subdomain of sub.site.co.uk - mojo seems to run quite happily in there and I can send the url to the client - happy days! smiley
