User Folder

Is there a way to programmatically access the logged in user folder?

Is there a way to programmatically create a folder for the logged in user?

Am trying to provide an upload feature to an authenticated user with the ability to for them to access their own folder with access to other folders.

Is there a best approach to do this? Greatly appreciate an advise.
