Mojoportal on Root

Hello,

I am almost a complete newbie in all of these stuff, still I got able to install and run mojoportal properly and even create what I was thinking about. My problem is that since I want to get it live I will probably have problems because the whole project is under localhost/mojoportal and I just cant find a way through forums and documentation that is really helping me to understand how to run mojoportal on root (localhost/) so I can create my project there and not on localhost/mojoportal/ which is created now. I would appreciated if you could guide me with 1 or 2 simple steps because I really cant understand how through forums/documentation/google. I run mojoportal on Windows 7/ IIS 7.5 / MsSQL 2005

Thanks in advance

Re: Mojoportal on Root

  1. Go into IIS and click on the Default Web Site
  2. On the right side of the screen click Basic Settings
  3. Browse to the folder where mojoportal is installed
  4. Click OK
  5. branch down the Default Web Site and right click on the mojoportal node and choose remove to get rid of the  /mojoportal

Hope it helps,

Joe
