Page Types

This forum is primarily for reporting issues about Web Accessibility such as difficulty using mojoPortal with a screen reader or other assistive technology.

Post any feedback here related to improving the accessibility or usability of mojoPortal. As stated in our Accessibility documentation, it is an important goal of the project that both the front-end customer experience and the back end administration and content publishing features be accessible to as many people as possible. Ideally, if you post about problems, we will also be glad to have suggestions on how the problems can be fixed but all constructive feedback on these issues is welcome.

Page Types

Creating a basic new page currently involves several clicks across different UI screens:

- Create New Page
- Add features to page
- Change settings for module(s)
- Edit feature specific content / settings

I'd like to see this shortened for typical new-page scenarios. For example, in my case I'd like all new pages to always include a HTML Content feature on every new page by default, with a content template of my choosing.

In the Create New Page screen, if there were a list of "Page Types" that I could choose from, that would be ideal.

In my perfect world for usability, here is what creating a new page would look like:

- Click "New Page"
- In the next screen, I review a list of "Page Types". I choose "Simple HTML Content"
- The new page is created with this already added with default settings for title etc.

It would be perfect if new "Page Types" could be defined by admins of a site too, with whatever default features and settings make the most sense for them.

If this is already possible in some way please let me know, if not, then this is my combination usability and feature request :)
