Validation controls not working after installing 2.3.5.3.

I made some custom user controls to be used in the ProfileView.aspx and UserProfile.aspx files and after the upgrade from v2.3.4.8 to v2.3.5.3 these controls don't seem to work anymore.

I just use the regular validation controls like required field validator and regular expression validator. It looks like they aren't executed anymore.

Are there any other reports like this?

Re: Validation controls not working after installing 2.3.5.3.

Hi,

On ProfileView it is not expected to have validation since it is meant to be a read only version of the profile.

On Profile.aspx I think probably what changed is that we are using a validation group so what you need to do is set the property on your validation controls ValidationGroup="profile"

Hope it helps,

Joe
