Thanks and a Shared files question (2.3.5.3 MSSQL Windows 2008 Web)

Two more flawless installations on W2008S. Joe, this is great stuff, many thanks.

Question: How do I configure the shared files content so that users can upload/download/create folders but cannot actually change any of the page settings? Not quite sure what I've missed here.

Thanks again

Jerry

Instead of granting the role edit permissions on the page, you can grant a role edit permissions on the instance of Shared Files, click Settings and look on the security tab.

You can also block their ability to change settings from Administration > Site Settings > Security > Permissions > Roles NOT Allowed to edit module settings

Hope it helps,

Joe
