Sharing users across portals.

Is there a feature to share users across portals.

If not, how difficult is it.

Thanks

Sai.

Re: Sharing users across portals.

Hi,

The feature to host multiple sites was designed to make independent sites and keep separate users. Each user has a siteid.

Changing to have SiteID in a separate table would probably be a good bit of work. It could be done but its not on my list of things to do anytime soon unless I get a paying customer who needs it.

Other strategies include making a utility to sync users across sites
Using LDAP or Active Directory authentication for both sites.

Hope it helps,

Joe
