Moving and modifying the Administration Menu?

Moving and modifying the Administration Menu?

Hi all:

 

I've created some skins using artisteer. However, the "Signed in as:...  Home   Site Map   MyPage   My Account   Member List   Search" text is difficult to see and we would like to modify it and/or move it. Can someone please tell me how to modify the style and position of the top menu.

Sorry folks, I am referring to the TopNav, SiteMapLink, and .sitelink, etc. I found the .css styles in stylemojo.css and have modified them a little. We are using windows authentication, and my boss has asked me to remove the "Signed in as: <name>" text from the top nav. Has anyone done this? If so, could you please post how. In the meantime, now that I know what I'm searching for, I will search for an answer.

Hi Jeff,

Those links are in the layout.master file of your skin and can move around and re-styled or positioned any way you like, you could move them to the footer for example or anywhere else they fit in your design. It matters both where they are located in the markup as well as how you apply CSS.

Its really a skinning question not a developer question.
