Event Calendar Pro

Sorry, not sure where to post this question. My client really likes the idea of the event calendar pro module, and we are going to buy a single license for them. My question is about how the single license works. I currently have the site on a sub-domain so that the client can preview the progress. I would like to install the module on this sub-domain so that I can get it to display properly, and enter all of the upcoming events before we go live. How would I transfer the license to the primary domain at the time of launch?

I just wanted to clarify all of this before I purchase the license and mess something up while testing. Also, the sub-domain is not a sub-domain of the production domain, but rather a sub-domain of my company's domain.

Hey Joe, if you don't want to get into it on the forum feel free to pm me, I just thought that it might be something others might be curious about. Thanks!

Re: Event Calendar Pro

Yes, it is allowed and it will work, just make sure it is a root level site in both cases so that the friendly urls created for the events are relative to the root of the site then it should work fine when you change to the production domain.

Customers should purchase licenses to be in compliance, but there is nothing locked down about my add on products, they don't require any license activation to work.

Best,

Joe

Re: Event Calendar Pro

Thank you so much, that's what I needed to know. I bought a document management module for DNN, and it was locked to the domain. this caused all sorts of confusion when we moved it to the production environment.
