Background Color of Hyperlinks??!?!?

Background Color of Hyperlinks??!?!?

I don't understand this. . . I didn't change anything in regards to the hyperlinks on the site (as far as I know at least) and suddenly, the background color has changed on the links. It seems to be effecting ALL links on the site. Do you know where I would control this? I thought it would be straight forward in the style.css, however, I am afraid that I am missing something. Could someone please help?

I solved it. . . and it was a silly over site. I had accidentally set a background image to an .a element in my CSS file. Not very smart. . .

However, if someone could help me out with this post, I would greatly appreciate it:
