Getting Started Issue

Hi there,

Apologies if this sounds dumb... but I'm struggling to get started...

I'm trying to get MojoPortal to run on my Win7 pc.... I have run the WinInstall app as well as downloaded the Source with Tortoisehg (source being approx 34mb)... To my knowlegde the mojoportal.sln should be in there somewhere, but it is not?

Did I miss an download/installation step somewhere?

Many thanks,

Shantell

Re: Getting Started Issue

Hi, mojoPortal.sln will be located in the root of the folder in which you downloaded the source. From the size you're quoting, I'd say you got a truncated download for some reason. The full mojoPortal source code download should be in the neighborhood of 239 MB. Compiled, it will be north of 600 MB (I can't say exactly, because I have some of my own custom features in my copy).

Re: Getting Started Issue

Using TortoiseHg you should be able to get the source code. Jamie is right it should be much larger and yes it should have mojoportal.sln

The Web Platform installer only installs pre-compiled deployment files of mojoPortal not source code.

Hope it helps,

Joe
