User Import Code or Help With

There are other topics on importing mutiple users that went back to 2008. Has anyone in the community to date tackled this issue where there is a need to import 400+ new users. If so could you please point me in the direction to the solution.

Thank You

Re: User Import Code or Help With

I'm sure people have managed to do custom importing using various tools, but it all depends on the format and source of the data to be imported, there is no universal solution to import arbitrary data in arbitrary formats. Most db platforms provide tools for importing data and allow you to map to columns in existing tables.

Re: User Import Code or Help With

I have very little data that I am working with firstname, lastname, email, and password. All users will be in the authenticated user group. The rest of the data user table and role table will be static. I just not real sure where to start. Other users from a couple of years ago mentioned using stored procedures to accomplish this task. That thread was 2 years old .
