Show Page RSS

Hi,

In order for a browser to detect the presence of my news RSS feed on every page in my site, do I need to add the custom meta data to each page e.g. <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="mojoPortal Change Blog" href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/mojoportal" />

 

or is there a better way of doing this?

Hi Ben,

Thanks for asking about this. It is supposed to automatically add those on the blog page and blog detail page, but when I looked into it just now it was not working due to a recent change. I just fixed it in my copy. However if you want it on every page then the only way is to add it to layout.master.

If you're working against the repository, you can see it by pulling down the latest changeset
