I have seen in many places around pages that can post directly to your blog, for example Flickr can make posts to different portals or CMS systems (Blogger, Typepad, Movable Type, LiveJournal,  WordPress, Manila, feed Atom, MetaWeblogAPI, Vox or Twitter). I think that it could be interesting to have this API so you could post from other places. I don't know if the best thing is to have a mojoPortal proprietary one or try to use an standard one. The first option will give a more detailed control on how things a published in the mojoPortal way but it will require the users of the other systems to request the implementation of the link. On the other hand, the second way won't need any third party development, but I don't know if any of the popular systems can be implemented a fits the needs of our blog.
