403 - Forbidden: Access is denied

Hi

I had to reinstall my mojoportal using Web Installer 2.0, installation went fine, I connected to my database and everything. I can see my website in the server, but when I try opening from home, I got:

403 - Forbidden: Access is denied.
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied.

Is there something else that I'm missing?

Please let me know,

Thanks,

Manny

Re: 403 - Forbidden: Access is denied

I noticed that I can access externally when I type the mojoportal subfolder.

www.mywebsite.com/mojoportal

And still getting error: 403 - Forbidden: Access is denied when Y type:

www.mywebsite.com

Re: 403 - Forbidden: Access is denied

Hi,

If you installed it in a folder "mojoportal" beneath the root instead of installing directly in the root then it will only run in the folder.

mojoPortal can run as a root web site if installed in the root or it can run in a virtual directory/application beneath root, but it cannot be installed in a folder and then pretend to run in the root. It runs from where you install it.

Hope it helps,

Joe
