Changing skins with url

Hi, I am using a url extension eg. ?skin=xxxxx to load a new skin which works fine. However, when I click an internal link and go to another page it loses the skin and users the site default one in the site settings. Is there a way to keep the skin loaded by the url extension to remain in use all the time? Thanks.

Re: Changing skins with url

Hi,

No, the skin parameter must be in each url for that to work. That feature was implemented only to support a printer friendly view of a single page and preview of a skin on a single page.

You can set the skin at the site level, optionally you can enable setting skins at the page level and/or allow users to choose the skin. Settings are in Administration > Site Settings.

Best,

Joe
