Different profile field sets for different roles

Different profile field sets for different roles

Hello!

I need to have 2 types of users on my portal with a little bit different sets of fields in their profiles.
How is it possible to do?

The only way I see now is to edit the view/edit profile page to filter the fields depending on the current user's role.

Is it somehow possible to introduce a profile field property like "available only for the following roles"?

Good idea. I'm still working on the profile feature. It will require a few schema changes to do what I want so I expect to have it ready in the release after this coming one. I will try to include this feature. I'm thinking it will be like role filter for the property. If no role is specified it will be for all users but if roles are specified it will only be available for role members.
