We can hide site title in header section in 2 way:

1- In skins.

2-Clear site title text box in admininistration->Site Settings.

I think the second way is easy and more convenience for site admisistrators. But when clear site title text box , the page title will be empty. In my opinion if use company name for page title may be better.
