CSS Class option in HTML Module Settings

Hi,

I think it would be very useful to be able to specify a CSS class for individual HTML Module instances in the module settings. The additional class can be added to the panelwrapper div. This can be used to apply individual style to the title element of the feature. I know that we can use the "module#" class but this requires a lot of work on the part of the end user as they would have to add the module# for each instance that they want styled to the CSS. The Simple List/Links Module already has this option and it has proven to be very useful for me and my clients.

Please let me know if this idea needs more clarification.

Thanks,
Joe D.

Re: CSS Class option in HTML Module Settings

Hi Joe,

I agree and will put it on my to do list. Actually should probably add this for most features instead of that crazy moduleid class name approach we are using to make it possible to style instances different in some features.

Best,

Joe

Re: CSS Class option in HTML Module Settings

Hi Joe,

I agree, this could be beneficial to most features of mojoPortal, especially from a skinning point of view.

I do no think the moduleid approach will be needed afterwards so maybe the web.config setting to disable the extra div (RenderModulePanel) should be set to false by default?

Thanks,
Joe.
