Compilation error Ubuntu 9.10

  • What operating system were you running when the bug appeared?
  • What database platform is your site using?
  • What version of mojoPortal are you running?
  • What version of .NET do you use?
  • What steps are necessary to reproduce the issue? Compare expected results vs actual results.

You may also want to review the installation or upgrading documentation.

Compilation error Ubuntu 9.10

Hi,

Yesterday i downloaded mojoportal-2-3-3-9-pgsql-deploymentfiles-for-mono.zip

When i started the installation under Ubuntu 9.10 I got the following error:

Compilation Error

Description: Error compiling a resource required to service this request. Review your source file and modify it to fix this error.

Compiler Error Message: : ** (/usr/lib/mono/2.0/gmcs.exe:2344): WARNING **: The following assembly referenced from /var/www/bin/mojoPortal.Web.dll could not be loaded:

Version information: Mono Version: 2.0.50727.1433; ASP.NET Version: 2.0.50727.1433

 

Can someone help me?

Hi,

Unfortunately there are some regressions in latest Mono and these cause major breakage for mojoPortal on Mono. Hopefully the next release of Mono will be better, often it seems like 2 steps forward and one step back with every release of Mono.
