Select an image in file-mananger for a custom module.

I am working on a custom links module that allows a user to have an image for each link.

This is all working. :)

Now I would like to add in a way for the user to pop a window that lets them select the image from the/a file manager.
I can't seem to find an control that has a way, using the file manager, to select an image and get the relative url.
Am I missing something?  If there isnt a control, what would be a recomended approach to get the effect?

Thanks for the help.
