Event Calendars - what are my options?

Hi

I am thinking about using MojoPortal but I'm not that impressed with either of the event calendars. Are there any other options? Are there any other widgets that will plugin nicely?

Thanks for any advice..

Re: Event Calendars - what are my options?

I've always found that event calendars are tough because everyone has specific needs and there's nothing off the shelf that will work perfect for everyone.

If the two MojoPortal options don't meet your needs I would think you could plug 3rd party options into Mojo (with a little programming work). Heck, even dropping something into an iFrame could work depending on what you are doing. I think Google calendar even provides source code to embed their calendar into any web page with a few lines of html.

Re: Event Calendars - what are my options?

Hi,

What kind of features would you like to see in the Event Calendar?

mojoPortal features are largely based on community feedback. While I can't speak for Joe Audette (mojoPortal founder and chief developer), if you make a reasonable feature request, it will probably be included in a future release.

If you are not impressed by the look of the Calendars, I can assure you that it is quite easy to style them to your taste using the associated CSS. If you have trouble with the CSS, just post your questions in the Help With Styles forum. You are sure to receive help.

Thanks,
Joe D.
