Locking existing forums

Hi,

We had build a site in early 2008 which was working well over the last couple of years. On the site, we had thousands of threads within our forums.

Now we have rebuilt the site (using mojo portal version 2-3-1-6) and want to lock (make read only) all older threads within all existing forums. Ideally, we would also like to collate and move these threads into a single 'Archive' forum.

What is the best way forward on this?

Thanks in Advance,

Imtiyaz.
