Possible to Build Simple Search utilizing Existing Search Function within MojoPortal?

Hello -
I am the Web Developer at a Medical Clinic. I are using MojoPortal for our public site development. I need to build a simple search function within the MojoPortal tool, to allow users on the world wide web to look up any of our providers / physicians by one of several criteria: their last name, their specialty or by the zip code of the clinic they practice out of. Is this possible to build, using the existing search functionality in the tool? If so, how do I go about building it. (A side note, I am not a database analyst, nor do I play one on TV,  Laughing and we do not have one on staff here either, so it needs to be relatively easy to maintain also.)

Thanks,
Kirsten Virnig

Re: Possible to Build Simple Search utilizing Existing Search Function within MojoPortal?

HiKirsten Virnig,

I thinks you need a custom module to store some information(Name, Last Name,... ) about your providers/physicians and develop search functionality for it.

Hope Helps,

Asad
