Re: Configure jQuery Cycle plugin

Super, it solved my problem, now I can give permission to this person to upload the images.

BUT!, I found something that you might consider to change for the final release.

If a user has Edit permissions, the settings for "Allow edit users to change folder path?" and "Allow edit users to upload?" is not really of much use, since the user actually can change these settings and because of this can grant himself these privileges if he did not have them before. I am sure that this is not what you intended, right?

Re: Configure jQuery Cycle plugin

You can solve this by creating as role and add the user to this role and in Site Settings > Security > Permissions tab

set this role as not allowed to edit feature settings.

Then the user cannot change these settings.

However, this applies to all Features not just Folder Gallery, so the user will not be able to change feature settings in any feature.

Hope that is sufficient for your needs.

Best,

Joe

Re: Configure jQuery Cycle plugin

Works, solved my problem and I am satisified,
but it seems a little backward... Like using deny on NTFS-permissions and so Undecided

Never mind, I just thought that it was something you hadn't considered that a person could evelate his ovn privilegies.
