variation on Events / Calendar

First of all many thanks for this portal. I have been working with it for a couple of days now and it is fast and stable! My previous portal was a nightmare. In Mojo I can create content fast.

 

What I would like to see is a list of the events in the calendar in a list in the left or right pane in chronological order.

What if we just add a feature to expose events as RSS then you can show a list of events using an RSS Feed module.

Would that work for you?

If that means that I can make a chronological list of the events from the calendar it is allright with me.

But I do not understand how I can use xml and rss to create a list.

I have set up a TEST page on my website (www.freedive.nl) but all that it gives me are two RSS buttons

The reason your xml feed is not working is because your items have no pubDate element and the feed module is using pubDate to only show items within some time setting, I think 90 days is the default setting.

We'll see about adding rss to the event calendar soon.

I guess this RSS implementation for the calendar is not in the 2.1.1 version?

no, not implemented yet, just trying to get an idea if we implement that will it meet your needs.
