I saw the release notes for mono
and noticed it says they got the ASP.NET Personal Web Site Starter
kit for 2.0 working so it gives me hope but I'm sure there are still issues for mojoportal. I tried mono from svn last week and had some errors with some of my web.config stuff, I commented those out and then it wouldn't load the assembly I compiled on windows. I'm going to try again this weekend with the latest mono svn.
I don't really see any benefit of running trunk under xsp2
branches/2.1 corresponds to the most recent release but the MD project I'm sure is not up to date with the latest files and unless you have updated the make file I'm sure it is out of sync with the solution (.sln file, and .csproj files)
Anything you can do to help update the make file for 2.1 would be great.
The new 2.x dev branch is branches/2.1.1 but probably best for now to just try with 2.1
