eCommerce package integration?

mojo has a fine "beginner" eCommerce. Has anyone tried to integrate more advanced ecommerce software such as ablecommerce or similar?

Obviously one can use webservices in Microsoft's Commerce Server and write mojo modules that interact with MCS services but

1) MCS is damn expensive and not an option for smaller merchants

2) Deploying  n-tier solution is not a daily cup of tee for most hosting providers - hence cost

Re: eCommerce package integration?

Hi

I've built a site using mojoportal and nopcommerce. Nopcommerce is free, but i have to say its not built as well as mojoportal, though its packed full of features and its free so i cant complain, it also comes with the integration modules to integrate into worldpay etc.

So im using mojoportal for my site, then I'm operating nopcommerce  under a subfolder which i've made and made it a application. Its a bit tricky sorting out the webconfig, so it doesnt inherit from the web.config above but its doable.

The only thing i havent yet done, is take the shopping basket tab (you know when it says in a little box, you have x amount of items in your basket) and put it into my mojo pages, though im sure its entirely possible to do this.

Hope that helps

Tim

Re: eCommerce package integration?

Tim,

Would you be willing to share some pointers on how you integrated Mojo and NopCommerce?  I've just found NC, and I am impressed with the featureset.  I'd dearly love to have that level of functionality already built into Mojo, but I'm not sure I'll have time to dig into Mojo and write in some of the "must-have" features I'd consider needful for the e-comm solutions my clients need.

Re: eCommerce package integration?

Tim,

I came across http://www.lubatti.co.uk which has been designed by you guys. I think this is the integration of nopCommerce and Mojo. If true, I would appreciate if you can divulge more details about this integration.

Thanks in advance and you have done a great job.
