I replaced the favicon.ico with a customized picture, but the old icon keep showing up. I recycle the application pool and clean the cache. I don't where it come from? BTW please check this nice site to make your own favicon: http://www.favicon.cc/.
put the favicon.ico in your skin folder
then go away from your site to google, then clear your browser cache, then close your browser, then open your browser, then go back to your site.
