I am having an issue where certain skins create extra divs around the left side "subpages" menu.  If my current page does not have subpages and there is no left side menu, the extra divs get created anyway, they are just not surrounding anything.

For example, my home page does not have subpages so there is no left side menu, however there are top and bottom outline divs above the left side content.  I have another page that has subpages, so there is a left side menu for the subpages.  The menu is wrapped in its normal top and bottom div, and then the  whole thing is wrapped in another set of top and bottom divs.

I am using version 2.3.1.7, however I have had this problem for the last few releases.  I am trying to compare skin/css files for skins that have the issue and ones that don't, but I have not yet had any luck.  I thought I would post here, to see if anyone could offer assistance.

As examples:

Some skins that create the issue: graformix-company, dcarter-bluedesert, mitchison-earthy-alt1

Some skins that do not creat the issue: mmcgee-uncreativesuite, styleshout-citrusisland
