WYSIWYG - enable browse button

Hi

We would like to enable a browse button in the tnymouse wysiwyg.  Currently the user has to place in a URL which will not suffice.

Your assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks

Re: WYSIWYG - enable browse button

I assume you mean TinyMCE. Browsing is enabled by default in mojoPortal's implementation of TinyMCE.

Re: WYSIWYG - enable browse button

Oh OK.  So me being absolutely ignorant, if it is enabled by default, how then do I get it to show up in tinymce insert/edit image window?

Thanks

Re: WYSIWYG - enable browse button

What version of mojoPortal are you using? If it is 2.3.1.5 or later, there is a button to the right of the URL text box. If it is older than 2.3.1.5, you need to upgrade to get this functionality. Please read this page before upgrading: http://www.mojoportal.com/upgrading.aspx.

Re: WYSIWYG - enable browse button

With that version of mojoPortal, you should be able to upgrade quite easily. I think you are going to love the new features added to mojo since 2.3.1.0, there have been a lot:

  • Flickr Slide Show (2.3.1.7)
  • mojoPortal Image Gallery Slide Show (2.3.1.7)
  • Content Workflow (2.3.1.3)
  • Teaser downloads in Web Store (2.3.1.3)
  • File browse/upload in TinyMCE (2.3.1.5)
  • Updated File browse/upload in FCKeditor (2.3.1.6)
  • Automatic image size adjustment in the File browse/upload utility for both TinyMCE and FCKeditor (2.3.1.6)
  • New User Avatar System allows users to upload their own Avatar (2.3.1.7)
  • IntenseDebate and Disqus integration with mojoPortal Blog (2.3.1.7)

There are many other improvements since 2.3.1.0 but these are the headliners.

Happy mojo-ing!
