Getting reCaptcha to work

Hi,

I activated the reCaptcha function and obtained the public/private key at the reCaptcha homepage yesterday.

But it doesn't seem to work. I used it on both a blog and a contact form. But no matter what i do, I can't get it to work. It just gives me the "invalid" warning.

I am sure I do something wrong, but I have no idea what Cry

Re: Getting reCaptcha to work

Hi,

Sorry, now I found a post about it being solved (I believe) in the new version. Downloading right now.

Re: Getting reCaptcha to work

Hi,

Sorry to keep on with this. But now I updated to version 2.3.1.6 and I still can't get that reCaptcha to work.

This time I get the error.htm page.

Obviously I am doing something wrong Frown

It happens whenever I use a feature with reCaptcha. For example a blog comment.

I tried to make a test page on the demo site (http://demo.mojoportal.com), but I can't make the reCaptcha show up and it wouldn't help me much I guess, because I don't have the private/public key needed.

Can someone give me a very simple example of how to get it to work so perhaps I can see where I do it wrong?

Re: Getting reCaptcha to work

This issue was previously reported and it has already been fixed in svn trunk. We will be making a new release next week including this fix. In the mean time I would just use subkismet.

Best,

Joe

Hi,

That is what I ended up doing.

Thanks for your answer.
