Add event pemission for calendar content

Add event pemission for calendar content

I created a page with  calendar as content. I want that authenticated users can add events so I added the permission of change the content for all authenticated users. But now an user can also see the gear icon to change the settings of the content and not only the link to add a new event.
I'm using 2.2.7.8 versione with Postgresql.
Is there a way to give only the permission to add an event?

Sorry but you're basically making a feature request and using an old version so even if I wanted to implement it you won't get it in an old version. 

This forum is where developers may ask some technical question or advice but I cannot answer every question or help everyone.

Sorry but it wasn't a feature request, it was only a question to know if this function has been simply projected in this way or if it is was bug!!
