When trying to insert a bmp file using FCKEditor Insert\edit image feature I browse to the folder where the bmp file is located however bmp files are unavailble. I can see it in the file browser, however when the resource is set to image in the browser bmp files are unavailable.

I tried digging through various config file but could not see where I could add this extension.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I will go ahead and perform the conversions to a preffered format.
