Web Site Host Name

Joe, I saw an article you wrote about making sure your web site host name 301's from a www-less url to the www one for obvious seo reasons. I have searched for 2 days now, and for the life of me can't find it again. Help?

To clarify I want to make sure http://12thstreetsportsbar.com/home.aspx  <- no www, will mess with analytics, and seearch engine rankings

301's to http://www.12thstreetsportsbar.com/home.aspx

I really do try to search the answer before posting in these forums. Try to live by RTFM...

Re: Web Site Host Name

Hi Tim,

No worries, its kind of burried under Documentation > Installation > Advanced Configuration but the document is here http://www.mojoportal.com/forcing-a-preferred-host-name.aspx

I've been thinking lately that some of the things under Installation I should create duplicate links to from the Site Administration section.

Best,

Joe
