content width within specific pages

Is there any way to set the width of the content panels in only specific pages?

Re: content width within specific pages

Hi Nick

I think you can enable "Allow Setting Skin for Page?" in the Site settings in admin menu, then you can set separated skin for any page. So copy your skin as a new akin ,change the content panel width and assign it to  specific pages.

I help you

Asad

Re: content width within specific pages

Thank you, Asad. This works, though I wonder how the style sheets are being applied. If I make changes to say my menu styles in the default site skin will those changes be present on the page where I have the alternate skin applied? Will the alternate skin only apply itself to the content or to the entire site view while on that page? I guess I can easily find out :)

The alternate skin apply itself to the entire site view including menu.

Re: content width within specific pages

I have updated some documentation here discussing alternate ways of organising the css files to make it easier to maintain skins with slight variations without having to maintain mutliple copies of all the Css files.

Hope it helps,
