Two mojoportal sites with different databases

Hi, Joe! Hope you're well.

Recently I decided to migrate my site from postgres to mysql. I prefer postgres, but to have the webstore funcionality I'll need to use mysql.

So, I requested to my hosting service to create a sub-domain called homologacao.mpachecheco.com.br.

The phisical structure is now like that (hope it keeps the aligment):

-MyAccount

---www.mpacheco.com.br (current - postgres)

---homologacao.mpacheco.com.br (future - mysql)

But when I try to run the setup I got the same error that you talked about here: www.mojoportal.com/Forums/Thread.aspx

So my subdomain and the original domain are at the same "level" and the conflict that happened in that case should not occur... Should it?

My intention was to make a homologation site where I can configure all the site and make the postgres/mysql transition without having a downtime.

Have you ever seen some situation like that?

Thanks,

  Vinicius

Re: Two mojoportal sites with different databases

Hi, Joe!

I find my mistake. When transfering files to the new site I sent the wwwroot folder instead of it's content.

Just move then one level upper and everything works fine as usual.

Thanks anyway!
