Problems at installations

When posting in this forum, please try to provide as many relevant details as possible. Particularly the following:

  • What operating system were you running when the bug appeared?
  • What database platform is your site using?
  • What version of mojoPortal are you running?
  • What version of .NET do you use?
  • What steps are necessary to reproduce the issue? Compare expected results vs actual results.

You may also want to review the installation or upgrading documentation.

Problems at installations

Hi,

 

i have one big problem: i don't have any expierence in asp.net. i want to install mojoportal 2.296 on my webspace at all-inkl.com.

the database platform is mysql.

i've started Web/Setup/Default.aspx and that's what i get: <%@ Page Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="false" EnableSessionState="False" CodeBehind="Default.aspx.cs" Inherits="mojoPortal.Web.UI.Pages.SetupHome" %>
 

i hope you can help me.

If it is just serving up the raw file content like that it means the site is not configured for ASP.NET. mojoPortal requires ASP.NET 3.5 SP1

Hi, Dennis,

I've been browsing through the web host provider website at all-inkl.com.

Unfortunately, i found out that the hosting plan do not support for ASP.NET scripts. They are offering hosting plan that support Php and Perl scripts only.

So you need to have ASP hosting plan in order to use mojoPortal.
