Host Name Mapping and Advanced Tools menu

I've created a copy of the Galery control and made a few modifications (new <div> tags and classes) and I've rebuilt the code and deployed it to the webserver.

Everything is working fine on the default/main site (I'm using Host Name Mappings)  however on all the mapped sites I can't see it in the list of controls to add to the page.

When I go to the [Administration Menu > Advanced Tools menu] on the seconday sites (not the default/main one), all I can see is the [Url Manager] and I can't seem to see the [Feature Installation/Configuration] option where I can see the list of the controls in the solution (and add the new one)  (I can see that in the default/main site)

Any help would be great.

Re: Host Name Mapping and Advanced Tools menu

 Hi Fraser,

Features can only be "installed" in child sites from the root admin site. If you go to Site Settings in the root site and select the child site from the Sites dropdown, then you will be able to add your custom gallery to the child site on the "Features" tab. After that it will show up in the list in the child site.

Hope it helps,

Joe
