Hey Joe,

I have another question .

Is it possible to hide the title of the module in the search results breadcrumb when you setup the module that is should hide the title? Or better, make it a setting to show/hide the title in the search result breadcrumb.

I ask this, because I think it shows to much. When you make a page, you give that a title. That title is visible in the breadcrumb.
But to give content to the page, you mostly add a html module on that page. That has also a title. And you can choose to show or hide that title, but it stays visible in the breadcrumb. And in many cases, you will find 2 titles that are almost the same, which is a bit annoying to me.

Possible?

Hi Stef,

No, I wish I was, I've just been very busy. The project re-organization was a complicated thing and I couldn't afford to be sidetracked into looking into this until I finished it. Thanks for giving this thread a bump to remind me.

After looking into this I agree with you that the module title within the search result link is redundant in the vast majority of cases. So I've changed the default behavior to not include the module title. It can be re-enabled by adding a We.config/user.config setting "ShowModuleTitleInSearchResultLink" and setting it to true.

I've committed this change to svn trunk.

Hey Joe,

I'm having some problems with this new feature. I have changed the setting, but now i have double results. Or even more.

After deleting the index and let the site remaking it, i got good results, but after a while, this situation is happening again.
Also, I don't have any paging anymore when there are more than 10 results. Very strange.
And nothing to see in the logs...

Any suggestion?

Hi Stef,

What version of mojoPortal are you using? There was a bug repoorted on this thread where duplicate search results were occurring, each edit was creating a duplicate in search. It has since been fixed though.
