I followed the hello wold tutorials to create a custom site module but I cannot seem to get Autopostback to work.
I created a form with a few textboxes, a few checkboxes, a dropdownlist, and a submit button. I want the checkboxes and the dropdownlist to force a postback when they are changed but it does not seem to be working. Is there something special I need to do to get autopostback to work other than setting it to true for the individual web controls?
I also created an OnClick event for the submit button and that seems to work great.
If you download the hello world zip again I've added an autopostback checkbox and autpostback dropdown list to the HellowMojoUserControl.ascx example.
They work on Windows, I haven't tried them on Mono.
Hope it helps,
I cannot explain why my original code was not working but I scrapped it and tried again with a new file and it worked beautifully. I can only assume a shadowy typo or some other madness. Your example file at least showed me that it would work on my setup.
Anyway, I can confirm that AutoPostBack works great on Mono 2.0. Thank you again for mojoPortal. I bought you a beer (a Guinness I hope).
Thanks so much for the beer!
Today is my birthday so I will definitely raise my glass to you this evening with a nice Guiness!
