Bug when deleting a Post in a Forum

When deleting a post in a forum I get strange results.

  • When displaying the thread contents, all I see is the header to the post that was deleted and no body to the post.
  • The "Total Repies" counter ends up decrementing to negative values.
  • When trying to edit thread, no values exist in the fields.

Try adding a post then delete it to reproduce this bug.

I am using the PostgreSQL version from SVN and have not tested against the others.

I also tested on http://demo.mojoportal.com and got the same results.  Sorry for making a mess in your demo forums, but it was the only way I could make sure it was not only in my configuration.

Re: Bug when deleting a Post in a Forum

I'm unable to reproduce this using a clean install of the latest code in svn, so either the bug has been fixed or it is somehow specific to upgraded installations.  Todd, please let us know if the problem still occurs after you upgrade to the forthcoming release.
