I hope I'm not pushing you with this by asking, but I wonder if you didn't forgot this and when you had in mind of doing this?
Cause I'm checking google now with my new site, and I see now that also the register page, login page, ... have the standard description.
So there are a lot of pages that are all the same when you look at the meta description.
If you need more information, or if I have to check things for this, please do not hesitate to ask me.

Indeed you are speaking of the roadmap, and I see you want splitting the meta tags, but will it be possible to handle these pages like cms pages?
Or did I miss something in your roadmap?

Cause I think that if you make it possible that those pages (register, blog items, ... ) are handles like all others, that the meta tag situation will also be solved.

And a meta description will be usefull if I can customise those pages.

I could live with the idea register and login just have the minimum. But I guess, when I find the time, I would make a module of each of these things, like a register module, login module, so I can use them on pages where I have full control.

The login module is the first thing I will try, since this was the purpose in my site layout. And for the moment, I'm working on a big web application (here in belgium ;)), and we use a custom login screen, but use also the login page when people came on a page when they are no longer logged in.

Perhaps I'm the only one who sees the advantage of this, and if that is true, than just focus on the meta tags. I will take a look to make those modules and put them online or send them to you if you want to have them in the cms.
